Of late, apart from the thrice daily load shedding resorted to by KESC during daytime, KESC is now torturing its customers by shutting off power supply three times between 11 P. M., and 8 A. M., in the morning, for about 70 minutes each, thus bringing the total time without electricity to 7 hours or so every 24 hour period.

The present management of KESC is only concerned with repatriating maximum profits out of Pakistan.

When a customer complains, 118 says that it is the Load Despatch Centre which tinkers around with the timing.
I have looked ito this matter from many many angle. There are areas in Karachi where load-shedding is consistently being done like 8 a.am. to 9 a.m., 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., and 6 p.m., to 7 p.m. with no outages in between or at night.
Draw your own conclusions.
