WAPDA and the spelling of BROCHURE

WAPDA is Pakistan's Water and Power and Power Development Authority and one of the nation's most durable and prestigious organizations.


While doing a search on Google for small dams , I came across a page from the WAPDA site which spells BROCHURE as [size=5[]Broucher[[/font]/size][/b]

Does WAPDA have the permission of the English people to change the way how English words are spelt?


If not, and this is an error, it is a shame for Pakistan that thefirst page of their site contains such a glaring and basic error?


Doesn't WAPDA have anyone who knows enough English? Does not the nation's premier and prestigious organizations and one of its oldest development entities possess a dictionary?


How have things come to such a sorry pass?


It is a shame for Pakistan.

I downloaded both the BROCHURES featured on the current main page of the WAPDA website.


The information provided does not follow a consistent patter,


For example, one of them mentions the number of persons who will be displaced by the development and the other does not.



MOST IMPORTANT



Jammu and Kashmir are shown as a presumably sovereign entity in the maps included in both these BROCHURES, which goes against Pakistan's 62 year old official, state stand on Jammu and Kashmir.


Has Pakistan reneged from that stand? If so, is only WAPDA privy to this renegacy? How come the rest of the nation is ignorant about it?


Perhaps someone from WAPDA will answer?
