A simple software package can provide real-time data, but the utility companies are not utilizing this readily available technology.


With real-time load utilization data available to load managers, it is possible that a sizable percentage of economic losses due to arbitrarily decided power outages can be reduced.

The goons who are running Pakistan's power distribution networks have no idea what happens when the supply of electricity suddenly terminated to an area.


Most of these guys are either career bureaucrats on secondment from various government departments.
