Power in the Defence Clifton area was shutdown by KESC at 11:45 a. m.
Since the usual load-shedding time had passed 118 was contacted. For the next 70 minutes, nobody at 118 could provide any reason why power had been shutdown. All they could say was that they do not have any means of providing real-time answers and will have to find out from the operations side, so we should wait.
Power was restored seventy minutes later.
The KESC response center could not respond to the question why the power had been shut down.
